About us
Pocilga is an auteur film production company founded in 2010 by BARBARA PESTAN and JAVIERA VÉLIZ motivated by creating a diverse and experimental high-quality cinema.
We believe that cinema is an experience that is capable of sensibly immersing the spectator, opening up new spaces for interpretation and reflection.
Our most recent production "Living there ...", co-produced with Brazil, was premiered at Cinéma du Réel in 2019, winning the Tënk award.
Where are we located?
We are located in Chile, based in Copiapo, Atacama region, and with a branch office in Viña del Mar, Valparaíso region.
